Hey there!

My name is Elyse Hartman and I am the creator of Linwood Lane. Linwood Lane is a blog that encompasses motherhood, from scratch cooking, faith, and a little bit of whatever life throws at us. We lived on Linwood Lane our first years of marriage, and when deciding on what to name this, the place where our lives were taking place just seemed right.

I am married to the best man ever, Wes, and together we have four sweet kids. I was blessed to get my older three children through adoption, and our youngest was born in July of 2019. Going from being a single woman to a mom of three overnight was not easy, and the journey has has plenty of ups and downs. However, I have learned so much along the way.

I went from knowing how to make scrambled eggs and cereal to from scratch homemade meals. I have gone from a public school teacher to a full time stay at home mom. Learning all these things came with a steep learning curve. I am far from perfect, but I am better than I was. I still have so much to learn and grow into, but I hope I am able to help with what I do know. So, I hope while you’re here we can learn from each other, because after all, it takes a village, right?
